This privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) explains how tru Independence, LLC (“tru,” “we,” or “us”) collects, uses, shares and retains information about you when you interact with us or with one of our subsidiaries, including our Affiliates, access or use our website or engage with us on social media. Please note, this Privacy Policy is intended only for a United States audience.

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the Privacy Policy and, in some cases, we may provide additional notice (such as adding a statement to our website homepage). We are committed to obtaining information about you through lawful and transparent means, with your explicit consent where required.

(a) Information you provide to us – when you engage with tru to apply for a job or otherwise, we may ask you to provide your name, email address and other personal information you choose to provide.

(b) Information we collect for everyday business purposes – we collect client billing and payment information from Affiliates.

(c) Information we collect when you access our websites and our social media:

(i) Log information – we collect information related to your access to and use of our websites, including the type of browser you use, app version, access times, pages viewed, your IP address, and the page you visited before navigating to our websites.

(ii) Device information – we collect information about the computer or mobile device you use to access our websites, including the hardware model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.

(iii) Information collected by cookies and similar tracking technologies – we (and our service providers) use different technologies to collect information, including cookies and web beacons. Our website and use of social media may offer social sharing features and other integrated tools (such as the LinkedIn “Follow” button), which let you share the actions you take on our website (such as choosing to “Follow” tru) with other media, and vice versa. Your use of such social sharing features enables the sharing of information with your friends or the public, depending on the settings you establish with the entity that provides the social sharing feature.
